MAC Groundwork Contractors Ltd is pleased to share an update on our £1 million parks improvement project in Bloxwich and Leamore, awarded by Walsall Council.
Since work commenced in May 2025, our dedicated team has been transforming these vital community spaces, and we’re excited to share the excellent progress being made across both sites.
Leamore Play Area: A Maritime Adventure Takes Shape
The new seaside-themed play area at Leamore is now taking excellent form. Our team has successfully completed all groundworks and the installation of play equipment, with the impressive pirate ship-themed play structure now dominating the landscape as a vibrant focal point for local families.
The installation of safety surfaces is currently underway, ensuring children can enjoy this exciting new facility safely. This isn’t just about construction – it’s about creating inclusive spaces that encourage outdoor play and bring the Bloxwich community together.
Bloxwich Park: Pathways and Landscaping Excellence
At Bloxwich Park, we’re putting the finishing touches on the newly constructed pathways, which will provide clear, safe routes throughout the park and significantly enhance the visitor experience. Our team continues work on the surrounding landscaping to ensure every corner of the park meets the highest standards.
The new play area installation at Bloxwich is scheduled to commence in August, creating another fantastic space for children and families to enjoy and make lasting memories.

Recently, members of our office team, Contracts Manager, and Executive Director participated in a voluntary litter picking day in Bloxwich, supporting the wider regeneration project.
