MAC Groundwork Contractors Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced Play Park Installer.
MAC Groundworks offers an unparalleled installation service to all our clients who include; major housing companies, local councils within parks & public areas, schools and nurseries.
The Playground Installation team are responsible for the ground preparation and installation of play equipment and Multi-use Games Area (MUGA).
This role would involve taking a lead on all works on site and managing their own team. Works on site include but not restricted to:
To be able to read and understand site plans and installation drawings accurately.
Measuring to scale and marking out the ground.
Digging out holes, assembling and concreting play equipment into place.
Edging & fencing.
A good attention to detail to complete all contracts to a high standard.
Overall day-to-day supervision of projects, assisting the Project Management Team in ensuring they are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Responsible for the efficient use of site labour, plant and materials to ensure timely completion of the contract.
Ensure that all projects follow best practice and Company procedures/Policies with regards to Health & Safety, Environmental issues.
Communication of Inductions Risk Assessments and Method Statements for all site activities & assess the competence of all personnel entering the works area.
Daily supervision of directly employed staff, third parties, sub-contractors, technical & professional, specialists and their representatives
To ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the requirements of the contract.
This role is working nationwide, based from our office at Chartley (between Uttoxeter and Stafford). We offer all foremans the responsibility of running their own team.

Salary: £20,000.00 to £45,000.00 /year

Experience installing all types of play equipment and associated groundwork and landscaping.
Site Health and Safety knowledge.
The position requires travelling around various sites all over the UK, including overnight stays.
Driving licence is essential.

Trailer Towing License (Desired but not essential)
